Forked Deer Electric Cooperative sent a group of high school students and one educator to spend a week in our nation's capital on the 2018 Washington Youth Tour. Participants joined nearly 200 students, educators and chaperones from across Tennessee on the week-long trip in June.

Boosted by a contract with the federal government to provide utility services to the new Air Field northwest of Halls, Forked Deer began to provide light and power to the once dark small communities throughout the region.
